30 Day Photo (Day 6) Trading Places…

Day 06 – A picture of a person you’d love to trade places with for a day

First of all I did say that my 30 day challenge will take me longer than 30 days right? 😀

Anyway so I’m thinking about this particular challenge and trying to decide who I would want to trade places with and the obvious answers (for obvious reasons) flit through my mind – Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, etc.

The truth is though I wouldn’t want to trade places with anyone else for a day. I am trying to live and experience as much as possible being me! What fun would it be if I were someone else?? I like who I am and seeing where I can chart my life. For the record, I’ve brought myself to some amazing places and had truly memorable moments just being me. So I might not be some billionaire chiseled actor but I’m having way too much fun living my life. It’s a fantastic ride!!!

Besides, I don’t have enough time in any given day to accomplish as much as I want to begin with! I definitely don’t want to lose a whole day!! So the best I can do for today’s challenge is post a photo of the type of body I’m working for at the gym. I may not get it but at least I’ll always be fully and truly me.

30 Day Photo (Day 5)…

Day 05 – A picture of your favorite memory

So, a favorite memory is actually pretty hard to shoot since you’re usually experiencing the moment! 😀

Still here are a few pictures I took one morning in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale. This is a place that I stay at semi-regularly and always enjoy myself. The beach early in the morning is quiet and so relaxing.  I have never had a bad experience here yet. I’ve always been able to let go and relax. It could be that’s what vacation is all about though right? No one to bother you (well hardly anyway!), no schedules to keep, no deadlines to meet. You can even spend a lot less time texting and using the phone (or try anyway)!

Just a little sunlight, a few drinks, good food and pure relaxation. Ahhhh….maybe I need to book a flight again soon!

30 Day Photo (Day 4)…

Day 04 – A picture of your night

So I went to the car show at the Jacob Javitts center  – wasn’t too impressed really. I was hoping for more concepts of the future but instead got a huge showroom!

After leaving the show and walking around the city I made a friend at the aquarium. He wanted me to take him home with me but he didn’t pass my credit check!

Dinner of course. It was supposed to be a greek salad but was kind of a mix between greek and Caesar.  Still it tasted good. Yummy for the tummy!

Finally ending the night with some editing.  I’m sooo productive (or trying!)

30 Day Photo (Day 3)…

Day 03 – A picture of the cast from your favorite show

So since this is a photo blog challenge and I’m a photographer I feel the need to use as many of my own pictures as possible. Luckily this gives me the chance to make this more creative for me then! Obviously I haven’t shot the cast of my favorite show BUT that doesn’t mean I can’t take pictures of some of my favorite shows right from the television. LOL!!

And yes, I do watch Smallville & Supernatural and I’m not afraid to admit it! Ok, well maybe a little but hey it is what it is! So here are my 2 pics.

30 Day Photo (Day 2)…

Day 02 – A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

So in an effort to make this challenge more insightful I will try to include more than just a picture.

This is me and my best friend Mark. He’s known me almost the longest out of my friends. He’s an amazing man who’s always there for me. I know that I can count on him any time – day or night. He’s someone that I can tell anything to and never think he’ll judge me for any reason. Over the years we’ve gotten into plenty of trouble together but always laughed while doing it!

He’s always been supportive of me, my art and life decisions. He’s also been someone who can give me another perspective when I need it most or just let me shoot the breeze.  I have to say that he’s one of the nicest, most caring men I’ve ever known. He’ll give you the shirt off his back.  Truth be told I think he’s probably a better friend to me than I am to him but at least he accepts that. If he doesn’t know it then let’s not tell him shall we? Thanks! 🙂

Mark lives kinda far away with his boyfriend now so I don’t get to see him too often but not so far that we can’t hop a flight on occasion. I hope his boyfriend considers himself extremely lucky to be with such a great guy!

Ok guess that sums up who I’ve been closest with longest. 😀

30 Day Photo Challenge (Day 1)…

Day 01 – A picture of yourself with ten facts

  1. I don’t think I look good in pictures which is why I’m behind the camera. Although I look pretty good in dim lighting if you’ve been drinking!
  2. I once played piano at Carnegie Hall.
  3. I have very little patience for stupidity. Ok, truthfully I have very little patience period.
  4. I am very open and try to live as honestly as I can. Both with myself and to everyone I am connected to.
  5. I already know that this will almost definitely take me longer than 30 days.
  6. I am ambitious and always feel like I don’t have enough time to do everything I want to do!  That’s also why I multi-task my ass off and suffer from insomnia. I will not have unlived veins in this life.
  7. I have an incredible sense of humor that’s more twisted than most. Laughter is one of the most important things we should never deny ourselves.
  8. I can’t sing. I mean I REALLY REALLY can’t sing, which is a shame since I loooooove music so much and fervently wish I could! 😦
  9. I have not seen Wicked. I know, big ole friend of Dorothy that I am you’d think I’d be upfront in my bedazzled vest! It’s a mistake I promise to rectify!!
  10. I have learned through my photography (and life in general) the true meaning of beauty! It’s larger than most people ever credit.
  11. I overuse exclamation points frequently!!!!
  12. I don’t regret anything I’ve  ever done. My past is what has made me the man I am today.
  13. I don’t deal well with limitations. I can’t even stick to a list of 10!
